    1.3) Browsers

      Allow pop-ups from this website on your browser.

    1.4) Cache

    • Most browsers use caching to load the content faster. However, caching can occasionally cause problems
    • If you notice unexpected issues with accessing the site or its content, clearing the cache might help. Here are instructions on clearing your browser cache
      • Mozilla Firefox

        • Click TOOLS (or MENU) and select OPTIONS
        • Click on the PRIVACY icon
        • Click the ‘clear your recent history’ link
        • Select ‘Cache’ and click ‘Clear Now’ button
        • Exit the browser and reopen
      • Google Chrome

        • Click the button to ‘Customize  and control Google Chrome’
        • Click on the ‘Clear Browsing Data’
        • Select ‘Cached images and files’
        • Click the ‘Clear browsing data’ button
        • Exit the browser and reopen
      • Internet Explorer

        • Click on the TOOLS menu.
        • Choose INTERNET OPTIONS.
        • In the GENERAL tab, under the Browsing History, click the ‘Delete’ button.
        • Select the Temporary Internet files and website files.
        • Click ‘Delete’
        • Exit the browser and reopen
      • Safari

        • Click ‘Preferences’.
        • Go to the ‘Privacy’ Tab.
        • Click on ‘Remove all Website data’.
        • Select the Temporary Internet files and website files.
        • Exit the browser and reopen

2) User Accounts

    2.1) New User Request

    If you need a new User Account, you can submit a request using the ‘New User Request’ or ‘Request for Login’ links. Here is the information that you will need to enter:

    • Email address (This will be your User ID for logging in).
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • User Category
    • Sharp Contact
    • Company Name
    • Job Title
    • Address Information
    • Password

    2.2) Forgot Your Password?

    • If you forget your password, you can retrieve it using the ‘Forgot Password’ link
    • You will need to enter your User Name which is your Email ID. You can also go to the site Password Enquiry

    2.3) Change Password and Account Information

    • After logging in for the first time, you will be forced to change your password.
    • After that, you can change your Password and Account Information by clicking on your name that appears at the top right corner of the site.

3) Working with Assets

    3.1) Navigation

    • Every time you log into the site, you will be taken to the home directory showing the different product types.
    • Each Product types has specific product categories.
    • The product categories will take you to the product models that you are intereseted in.
    • Some product types do not have cateogries and take you directly to the product models.
    • The product Assets are available under each product model.
    • For each product model, if there are assets in a folder, that folder will show a tile with dots. If a folder is blank, it will show a blank tile.

    3.2) Knowing where you are

    • On most pages, you can see where you are, by looking at the navigational path just below the thick bar below the Search button. Clicking on the Home icon in this path will take you to the home directory
    • The thick bar at the top usually is colored differently for each product type
    • Clicking on the Sharp logo at the top left will also take you to the home directory

    3.3) Viewing an Asset

    • Click on the Asset to view it in a new pop up window. It will show the Asset details, including its size, pixels and DPI.
    • This pop-up can also be used for the slide show of the assets in the folder you are currently viewing.

    3.4) Slide show of Assets

    • Select the checkboxes of the Assets that you would like to view, and click on the link ‘Slide show’ below the thick bar to the right
    • This pop-up can also be used for the slide show of the assets in the folder you are currently viewing

    3.5) Emailing the Assets

    • Select the checkboxes of Assets that you want to email, and click on the ‘Email’ link below the thick bar to the right.
    • An Email box opens up. Enter the Email address to send the Email, along with the Subject and the Message. Then click on the button ‘SEND EMAIL’.
    • This sends the selected Assets as one Zip file.

    3.6) Emailing the Assets as a PDF file

    • The link ‘Download as PDF’ works similar to Downloading the Assets, except that it downloads the Assets as one PDF file.

    3.7) Downloading the Assets

    • Select the checkboxes of Assets that you want to download, and click on the ‘Download’ link below the thick bar to the right.
    • It will download the Assets as one Zip file.

    3.8) Downloading the Assets as a PDF file

    • The link ‘Download as PDF’ works similar to Downloading the Assets, except that it downloads the Assets as one PDF file.

    3.9) Adding Assets to Cart

    • Select the checkboxes of Assets that you want to addd to your cart, and click on the ‘ADD TO CART’ button below the thick bar to the right.
    • More information is available in the ‘Cart for Assets’ section below.

    3.10) Downloading a single Asset

    • Click on the Asset to view it in a new pop up window, or launch a Slide show
    • On the pop-up window for the Asset, click on the ‘Download’ Link at the top.

    3.11) Adding a single Asset to Cart

    • Click on the Asset to view it in a new pop up window, or launch a Slide show
    • On the pop-up window for the Asset, click on the ‘ADD TO CART’ Link at the top

    3.12) Printing a single Asset

    • Click on the Asset to view it in a new pop up window, or launch a Slide show.
    • On the pop-up window for the Asset, click on the ‘Print’ Link at the top

    3.13) Converting a single Asset Format and Size

    • Click on the Asset to view it in a new pop up window, or launch a Slide show. On the pop-up window for the Asset, click on the ‘Convert’ link.
    • You can convert into different formats such as JPG, PNG, BMP and TIFF.
    • You can also resize into a different Height and/or Width. After you enter the new format and/or size, click on the ‘CONVERT’ button.
    • The converted file will be available for you to view or download to your computer.

4) Cart for Assets

    • Your Cart for Assets will show the Assets added by you. It can be accessed by clicking the ‘VEIEW CART’ button
    • You can keep adding Assets to the cart from different folders or different product models
    • The Cart has the same features as in ‘Working with Assets’ mentioned above, for viewing, downloading, emailing, etc.
    • You can delete the items in your cart by clicking the ‘Delete’ image above each Asset

5) Searching for Assets.

    • Enter the search terms in the Search box separated by space
    • You can also narrow down your search to one or more Product Types and Material Types
    • Click the ‘SEARCH’ button after entering the search terms
    • Clicking on a search result will open a new window to display its content
